Bangerz: Full Album Review

Bangerz is a revolutionary and very emotional album, you will not find one song that doesn't have a strong and deep meaning while still being upbeat and fun to listen to. Miley has really experimented with a new style and in my eyes succeeded on an unprecedented level. 9/10

Adore You- This slow yet steady ballad has depth that really resonated with listeners. Miley's vocals are exploited but this has more of an emotional effect than to distract the viewers. Overall this song is the perfect balance of emotional lyrics and vocals with a catchy hook and synthetic beat. 7.5/10

We Can't Stop- This party anthem is just that, an anthem, one that everyone knows the words to and one of the albums biggest hits. Through her nonchalant vocals and rebelious lyrics Miley created the party son pf the decade. 8.5/10

SMS(Bangerz) ft. Britney Spears- Although this song includes some of Britney's worst vocals Miley saves it with her periodic soulful voice and catchy lyrics. Definitley not a party song like it was probably intended for but a good song to maybe workout to, IDK. 6.5/10

4X4 ft. Nelly- This southern influenced and hip hop infused song is not a star, Nelly is weak and the songs set up includes no high or exciting points. Overall A one note song. 6/10

My Darlin' ft. Future- Again a weak collab, However this songs emotional plees and desperate calls allow for a song with depth. Overall a bad collab desicion on Miley's part. 6.5/10

Wrecking Ball- Never have I heard such an emotional song that also includes good construct and vocals. Miley has created a Gem and probably one my favourite songs ever! There is no way to not feel something while listening to this song. In the end A song for the history books. 10/10

Love Money Party ft. Big Sean- this is a hip hop infused strong collab that Miley should be proud of, I believe she has really mastered her hip hop vocal timing and proved herself as a hip hop icon.

#GETITRIGHT- My least favourite song of the album, its one note and that note is not pleasant. At All. A Complete disaster in my eyes.3/10

Drive- This song reminds me more of her earlier style, it doesn't really fit but its good. Good Vocals. Good Lyrics. Good Harmony. Good Hook. Overall Good. 7/10

FU ft.French Motana- This will be the only French Montana Song I will ever like, and I really like it. I think FU is an anthem one that can be song out loud when your mad. Its almost a coping mechanism, trust me i've used it. 8.5/10

Do My Thang- Again an anthem of positive thinking and being yourself, a repeated message in Bangerz. This song has great structure and is very well produced. 8/10

Maybe Your Right- The best kept secret ever, this emotional ballad poses a heartbreaking situation one many can relate to, and combined with Miley's chilling vocal performance this song is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. I Love It. 9/10

Someone Else- The best structred song I've ever heard, Its inconsistent tempo and irregular beat creates a purposeful feeling of insecurity. Overall A great song with depth and structure. 8/10
