Alessia Cara is L.A Reid's newest star, america's new sweetheart and overall a great musician. She brings an unheard sound and instant likeability. I loved her after 30 sec of Here. She is here to stay. 8.5/10
Outlaw- Consistent vocals, catchy hook and strong beat makes this song a fun listen. Yes, this son is very fun almost too fun. In the end a consistent and safe move on alessia's part. 7/10
Seventeen- Best song of the album and one of the best choruses of the year. Pop, Punk, Jazz and Hip-Hop are combined seamlesly. Cool Construct and original chord progression, overall a hit. 9/10
Four Pink Walls- A synthetic and beautiful tribute song, almost reminesent of a Becky G song. It includes smart lyrics and relatibility although is poisoned by a monotoned melody. 8/10
I'm Yours- Again very synthetic but it works for her style and makes her songs recognizable and sets her sound apart from mainstream pop. Best show of vocal range in this album and layers, in the end a good song. 7.5/10
